U.S. High School Diploma & Graduation Requirements

Rise International College offers its graduates a U.S. diploma accepted globally by schools, colleges, universities, and employers.
To graduate and receive a U.S. high school diploma from Rise international College, students must be full-time and complete 24 credits in the following subject areas. Each full-year course earns one full credit:

    Math

    4 credits

  • null

    Science

    4 Credits, including two lab sciences

  • null

    History

    4 Credits, one of which must be US History*

  • null

    World Language

    2 credits (must be two credits of the same language)

  • null

    Health

    0.5 credit

  • null

    Physical Education

    0.5 Credit

  • null

    Electives

    5 Credits

Total Required Credits 24

*US History is mandatory for American students attending US Universities.
  • Transcript analysis will sometimes require further research and contact with prior institutions to determine eligibility of transfer credits. International records may require translation and/or evaluation prior to being considered for transfer credits.

  • Transfer of credits from a public school or accredited private institution will be considered on an individual basis.

  • For full-time students, Rise International College will consider accepting credits earned at other institutions when an official transcript(s) has/have been received.

  • Of the 24 required credits, full-time students must complete a minimum of 6 credits (one full year of study) with our school to be eligible for a Rise International College diploma.
